LB-501 is the new Pentium® M embedded board computer, based on the latest Intel® processor, Pentium® M and Intel® 855GME chipset. The Pentium® M series allows systems to be thin, light and with low power design. It enables the computer to run robust application with low power consumption. It is an excellent balance of performance and electrical expenditure. In addition, the new Pentium® M series also provides high speed networking availability, supporting dual LAN ports up to 1 Gigabits with Intel® 82541GI chipset. The 5.25” embedded board supports an Intel® Pentium® M processor up to 1.8 GHz and provides system memory up to 2GB DDR DRAM. The Intel® 855GME chipset , provides multiple display functions, such as analog display, dual independent display. Dual independent display can view two independent video sources when external monitors or panels are connected. The latest AC ‘97 audio technology is also employed on the LB-501, delivering 20-bit audio for enhanced sound quality and full surrounds sound capability. Other standard features include 2 EIDE & 1 FDD interfaces, 4 COM ports (COM2 selectable for RS232/422/485), 1 parallel port, 6 USB ports, 1 PCI bus, and 1 Compact Flash socket.
